Not necessarily my first story, but I remember making up stories and telling them to my little brother and sister... They were mostly horror stories.
What is your writing process?
I can sit and write for hours at a time and when I do I write without worrying about grammar, etc. I first write all my stories on pen and paper, and then type my books up. Also, when I set down my pen for a rest and come back I will use a different pen. I believe it brings fresh ideas.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The 5th of March. That was the book that got me into reading and writing. Before, I just liked to make up and tell stories.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Harry Potter, The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, The fifth of March, and my own book The Three Brothers Prophecy. :}
What do you read for pleasure?
I'm not picky really... I love Lee Hong Ki's nail book. I really like nails... and Lee Hong Ki's not bad to look at either.
Describe your desk
My lap. I'm not the writing on a desk of gal.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up the the small surrounding area of Bryce Canyon. Boredom sets it pretty quick (laugh). It's a beautiful area and I will always love it, which is why events in my books take place in these areas, but it is still boring at times.
When did you first start writing?
About middle school... 6th or 7th grade.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love bringing people to life! It's the best. Writing, to me, is a form of an outlet. It's very therapeutic.
What are you working on next?
The second book to The Three Brothers Prophecy series. I'm super excited!
