Interview with Joseph Banks

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was raised in the bad part of New Haven Connecticut. People think New Haven, I think Yale, New Haven has some horrible areas. I think you gave me a thick skin and the ability to talk the truth.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Unable to express myself and whatever point I'm trying to make, much better then when I am speaking with someone.
What are you working on now?
I'm working on a book about people who suffer after living through traumatic experiences and how important it is to have a support system in place
What are you working on next?
How to make money when you've started later in life, or are changing careers to do what you love
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My tenth-grade English teacher. Plus the fact that I wasted so many years of my life and doing what I hated, I want to do it I love now
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My Moto X
How do you approach cover design?
If I can't find someone to do it for me I usually designed them online
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Either working on my maintenance business, spending time with my son, or doing research
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Search keywords
Who are your favorite authors?
Things too many to list, mainly business, marketing financial authors.
I enjoy the writing style of Seth Godin, I really enjoy the "for dummies" books
