When did you first start writing?
I'm not really sure, I always liked to rework movie stories to fix flaws I thought existed. What really started it when my local library had a writing contest to commemorate it's 100th anniversary. I submitted two stories and one of them won second place.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I have always been a big fan of old time radio programs from the 1940s-1950s. I enjoy the comedies and mysteries. Among my favorite mystery radio shows, where the hard boiled ones, like Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe, Johnny Madero, Pat Novak for Hire, the Lion's Eye and others. I decided that wanted to write a story with similar banter and bad puns and there it is.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I think its a tie between finishing the story and hearing reader feedback.
Describe your desk
Sometime I write at the kitchen table, but most of the time, I just sit in a chair with my laptop and write.
