Interview with Veronica Quartz

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing for me is like my huge crush in high school. I was afraid to say “hi” for it won’t work out anyway. We separated and years later the passion came back and now I am ready to make a move.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Aside from the blinding sunlight that peeks through my window, it’s the chance given to me that I am able to live for another day and experience exciting things life could ever offer.
Who are your favorite authors?
I always look up to Pittacus Lore, Rick Riordan, Lauren Kate and Alice Sebold. I have read their books even before the movie franchises.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I look for parasites, count blood cells and grow bacteria. You can say I am the closest resemblance to a vampire for I stay awake at night and I take blood for a living. I am a medical technologist who also enjoys hiking, baking and cross stitching.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It’s called “The Last Time You’ll Ever See Me Cry.” It was eight years ago. I wrote it with a technicolor scented pens in a carefully stapled bond papers. It was memorable but sadly it did not survive the storm the next year.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
amazon, kindle, smashwords and google
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Regardless where and when, I always wanted to write. I am fueled by the need to share this fantasy world that I created to my readers. I love writing fiction in fact it is my own version of an escape hatch.
Describe your brand of writing.
My stories are revolving on controversial contemporary romance with an affinity to dapples of dark concept all wrapped into sappy and light stories.
