For pleasure I read urban novels.

I tend to read on my phone.
Describe your desk
My desk is actually my lap. I write while sitting in my bed or on my couch.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in middle school.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I thought about the story line to Not Every Playa Knows the Game when i was in middle school and just decided to write it.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I read 13 books on smashwords in one month so i figured i could write my own.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My son literally wakes me up to kisses everyday then ask for breakfast. He is my inspiration and my alarm.
When You’re not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work a lot and think of other ways to become an entrepreneur so i can spend more time with my son.

People either send me them or recommend them.

I write an outline. Divide the outline into chapters per day for 7 days. I give myself one week to write.

The Lost Symbol because it perfectly blends history, knowledge, and a great storyline.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smash Words made publishing my book easy and simple.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is being able to bring characters to life and creating a movie in the reader's head.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean a lot to me because I would not be a writer without readers.
What are you working on next?
I am working on the sequel to Not Every Playa Knows the Game.
