Interview with Kim Barnouin

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
When I was little my mom would read Winnie the Pooh to me every night. every single night! I loved books from a young age. I loved being taken in to the world the author created and getting lost in it. It was my escape.
How do you approach cover design?
I like designs that are visually stunning and eye catching. Cover designs for cookbooks are so much fun because you get to choose from a great variety of beautiful dishes!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I have so many that I love! Ok, Real Magic by Wayne Dyer because it made me believe in my dreams, The Shack by William Young, beautiful and heartbreaking story, The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, love this book because it is written so well and it is so relatable. Any cookbooks...I love them all, I keep some by my bed so I can go through them at night and plot out what to make the next day!
What do you read for pleasure?
I like reading self help and inspirational books, like Wayne Dyer and Tony Robbins

Besides the stuff I wrote as a kid, I started in 2003.

To help change the way people ate and looked at food
