Interview with Kristina Haile

What motivated you to become an indie author?
In short, my audience. I was more concerned with getting out what I feel is an urgent message to parents. Spend fun quality time with your kids regularly so that when the hard times come you already have a strong foundation to use in order to get through them. I wanted to give parents real tools as quickly as I could and I felt this was the best way to go.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing is an excellent form of reflection for me. All my years of studying have given me some exceptional tools to use in parenting my own children and when I'm writing I take the time to reflect on all that I have learned. Being able to reflect allows me to then put those recalled lessons into action.
What do your fans mean to you?
Quite simply, the world. My goal is just to share with my readers all that life has taught me. Knowing that other parents are reading my woke and using my tools means that there are children out there who's lives I have positively impacted, that's all I want; to have made an impact in the life of a child.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The delicious aroma of coffee :)
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Living. I try to live each day; find some new wisdom, see some new beautiful thing, share some great moment with my family.
