Interview with Lynelle Skaggs

Describe your desk
It tends to be unorganized. I like to sit in different places to write.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Texas and was always dreaming of faraway lands. I wanted to be anywhere but where I was. This really inspired me to exceed my imagination past the moments I was living in.
When did you first start writing?
I have been writing poems since I was a kid. I didn't start writing my book until 2010.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The darkness that I've seen in my lifetime and in others is the main story behind Demons Cannot Stand!
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans keep me going, keep me writing! I truly appreciate every single one of them.
What are you working on next?
Part two and three of Demons Cannot Stand. I have started other books that I'm very excited about!
Who are your favorite authors?
Sidney Sheldon and Kasey Mars
What is your writing process?
I do not have a particular order I go in. I wrote the ending to a couple of my books before I got to the rest of the story.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My readers being inspired by what I write.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I would say several things, but mainly my son.
What do you read for pleasure?
I try not to read other authors books while I'm writing. I do miss it and hope to get back to reading soon.
