Interview with Layna Levigne
What are you working on next?
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I play guitar.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Mostly by chance. I always try to read indie.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Absolutely! I still have it.
What is your writing process?
I just follow the story in my head and write down everything I see. Then I go in and fix all the errors.
What do you read for pleasure?
Erotica and Fantasy.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I'm still fumbling my way through this part.
Describe your desk
Covered in papers and notes. I prefer to write in a comfy chair.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in third grade.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I love the idea that an ordinary day and an ordinary life can change in an instant.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I like the idea of the readers being the gatekeepers to books. The connection should be between the readers and the author without corporations taking advantage of either.
