Interview with Liam Rooke

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes and I couldn't stop typing for weeks. Ideas flooded my mind so I did my best to get them down while I could.
What is your writing process?
I get inspired by something and this usually creates the creative catalyst I need to get the ball rolling. I never force myself to write I allow it to flow naturally.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
One of the first stories I can remember being read was 'Danny Champion Of The World' This was one of my favorites. It took me away to another world inside my imagination making anything possible.

Letting go of the physical world and allowing me to create my own.
How do you approach cover design?
I look for something that inspires the desire to read - I love books that catch your eye and make you think hmmmm - what is that about?
What do you read for pleasure?
I like to read fiction and create my own vision of the writers writing - a kind of collaboration between writer and reader.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Kobo :)
When did you first start writing?
I began writing about 13 years ago
What's the story behind your latest book?
my latest books are tools for self help. Allowing the reader to gain insight into someone who has knowledge and experience of health - wellness - mental health and to use the information to create positive lasting changes in their lives.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Possibilities - everyday there is a chance to adventure and create :)
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords gives people a platform with which to launch off and this helps so much. Knowing that you can get your work out there is a fantastic feeling.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
To be able to entertain - inspire - motivate - help & give to others. Knowing that my work can help people really brings a feeling of joy to my life.
