Interview with Liku Ngube

What do you read for pleasure?
I am obsessed with paranormal books right now. Once I start a book I just can't put it down!
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the rural area in South Africa, Eastern Cape. As with most rural areas around, life around me was usually about farming. I loved reading travelling magazines growing up because I've always had a yearning to see the world. I actually only read my first romantic novel when I started boarding school at grade 8, that's when I was exposed to everything :)
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I'm a dreamer, and it's great when I put my thoughts into words and share them with friends
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I was still in high school... eish fond memories. It was actually based on my friends personalities, I had fun
