What's the story behind your latest book?
Although it is classified as fiction, it portrays the real truth of reality, and provides a glimpse into non-physical territories.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in rural Northland, New Zealand, spending many hours having to create my own entertainment. I wrote my first young person's story whilst I was still in primary school.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The length of time it takes publishing houses to get back to you.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The great sense of achievement, and knowing I have worked extremely hard at making sure the outcome is a good story.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything :)

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Being grateful
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Artistic painting, making delicious meals for my husband and family
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Elizabeth and Eleanor, twins separated at birth
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
There was a story about a penguin who lived at the South Pole. It made me realise that species other than humans have feelings too.
