When you are not creating art, how do you spend your time?
I enjoy reading self-help books and going on nature walks to look for artifacts and other "treasures" to use in my art.
What is your process for writing articles on mixed media art?
As I'm making art, I'll record the process and make note of the things I learned. As I'm creating and writing, I'll get new ideas of things to try and write about ... Often I'll get the idea for a tutorial first and then I'll try it out to make sure it's a viable idea.
How do you approach cover design?
Since I'm a digital artist and have a little bit of experience with graphic design, I create my own.
What do you read for pleasure?
I don't read books for pleasure but I do enjoy paging through crafting books and magazine to get ideas for future art projects.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I use my laptop.

Messy- piled with up art books, my video camera, notebooks and folders filled with information about projects I'm working on.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I was inspired by listening to podcasts by a highly sucessful internet marketing coach.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I enjoy the process of researching and rewriting the information in my own words. There's something powerful about that.
What do your fans mean to you?
I am very thankful for the people who are interested in what I have to say. I always try to figure out how I can serve them better.
Why are you inspired to get out of bed each day?
I am very blessed in that I get to do what I was created to do- create art and write about it.
