Interview with Lynnie Raines

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Making wire bracelets. It's fun, and I can sell them to make money.
Describe your desk
My desk has a blue nail polish mason jar with an opening in the shape of a tardis, filled with two deer antlers and several knitted and duct taped flowers in one corner. In the opposite corner there's different types of pliers, pencils, glitter glue, and sharpies in another mason jar. There's currently paper and multicolored wire all over the desk. It's beautiful :'D
When did you first start writing?
Probably about second grade. I made a book for my teacher called "Flowers", about a cat's adventure in a sunflower field.
Who are your favorite authors?
Definitely Ellen Hopkins, James, Patterson, and Cassandra Clare!
How do you approach cover design?
I use PhotoLab or ask someone else to do it.. I just discovered photobucket though~
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a house where reading was loved(:
What's your favorite thing to listen to while writing?
Anime! Specifically Soul Eater and Fairy Tail.
