Interview with M. E. Fletcher

What do your fans mean to you?
They mean more than they'll ever know because without them I wouldn't be here. I'll take this time to say a huge thank you to every single one of them for supporting me and buying my books.
What are you working on next?
I have a few books floating around in my head. I'm just trying to get what I have finished published.
Who are your favorite authors?
I can't really say I have a favorite, one that I will buy each and every book they write. However, I do like Nora Roberts, Patricia Cornwell, Cameo Renae, and Jennifer McMurrain.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My grand-daughter... plain and simple.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to spend as much time as I can with family and friends. No one knows how much longer they have on this earth, and I want to make every moment count.
What is your writing process?
It is a scattered process that some how magically becomes a book.
How do you approach cover design?
Cover design is something that takes a great deal of thought. It's like trying to sum up the entire book in one picture.
What do you read for pleasure?
I don't have a specific genre. I will read the synopsis and if it sounds interesting I go for it.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My Iphone because it's always with me.
Describe your desk
Organized chaos.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing at the age of 16, but didn't even think of publishing them until I was pass 40.
