What was the inspiration for writing your book on Earth Healing?
I've always wanted to protect the environment. From a young age, I always admired animals and understood that they were pretty defenseless against humans. We destroy their habitats, factory farm them and injure them through our daily activities constantly. Because of that, I have wanted to protect them and their habitats from when I was a child. My love for animals led me to study environmental science and work in environmental management for over 15 years.
My other passion is learning about the universe and understanding energy. I started energetic healing about 10 years ago and realised that I could combine my love of animals and the environment, my scientific and practical environmental management knowledge and energetic healing altogether to help the Earth. And that's when I came up with the concept of Earth healing.
Earth healing is simple and easy for anyone from any background to do. It doesn't cost money and it doesn't have to be metaphysical. Best of all, it is an extremely effective way of making the environment healthy again!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Just being myself. I honestly don't think about what people will think of my work when I'm writing. I'm just authentic and it is such a great feeling to communicate straight from my heart.
What are you working on next?
Well, I know I'm still to write another book, but I don't know what yet. It will come to me when it is ready to be written. That's what happened with my first two books. It's a great way to produce work - waiting until it comes to you. Otherwise, you spend your time trying to force something out and the end result is nowhere near as good.
In the meantime, I will continue to offer land and property healing sessions for clients (I do them remotely so I have clients all over the world), consult on environmental management issues for clients and teach people about Earth healing.
What do your fans mean to you?
Of course I love that people appreciate the work I do. The people who follow me are kind, loyal, smart and inspirational themselves. I am really grateful for them! What I am just as grateful for though, is that there are more people out there helping Mother Earth because they see my work. I could't ask for more than that.
If there was one thing you wish everyone in the world did, what would it be?
It would be for everyone to appreciate how much nature does for their mind, body and spirit. If everyone truly understood and appreciated how dependent we are on the environment for health and happiness, they would automatically want to protect it.
