Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
As a child in Elementary School, I had a teacher who encouraged me to read daily and one of the books I loved most was Julie of the Wolves. In highschool, I loved the Bounty Trilogy & anything by Anne Rice.
What do you read for pleasure?
I'm secretly a romance and adventure fan. I enjoy historical bibliographies and classics. But I love the occasional thriller or horror story as well. Anything from "Interview With a Vampire" to "Crime and Punishment".
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I use my cellphone, Samsung Tab, or my Nook tablet.
Describe your desk
Some days I write sitting on a bench on the patio, sometimes in the middle of the night by my bedside table, and occasionally at the beach.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up on the island of O`ahu, Hawaii. I was blessed with great school teachers who encouraged me to write whatever came to mind, anything and everything. To be open to criticism, yet to stand by and be proud of my work.
When did you first start writing?
I wrote a lot of poems and short stories in middle school. It wasn't til college I had learned how to write with a little more depth.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest work, is yet to be completed. My inspiration comes from the experiences of past relationships.

Time will tell! I'm always grateful. Even if only a handful of readers enjoy my work, it'd be all thanks to this great site. To reach at least one individual and have them understand and appreciate your work, is all I'd ever ask for.
