What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I don't know whether I would refer to getting out of bed as an inspiration, but I love the thought that when I get up, my garden and everything which happens there every morning will be there to enjoy again and again.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend as much time as I can with my grand-children and family. Gardening and bird-watching as well as hiking on the moors when the weather is not too wet. I read and drink espressos whenever I can.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I have daily feeds on my e-mail and if there is a book which looks interesting, I'll have a look and download it to my kindle should I wish to read it in future.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was a short story called, 'The Day My Sister Became A Nurse.'
What is your writing process?
I keep a small note book and two pens with me whenever I go out. Many times I don't feel like typing and prefer to make notes and/or continue writing a chapter of a WIP and then when I've written down everything which leads to a conclusion, I'll retype and edit at the same time as a sort of first draft.
