Finding interesting things to do to keep from writing.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I don't read ebooks.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Barely but I do still have it somewhere.
What is your writing process?
When the last attempt at procrastination fails then I start writing. Or at my writing club upon arrival eat something then start writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
No.

Large black full size desk which came unassembled but assemble looks like an old style desk. It's surface is neat and avoid of clutter. It is only used for writing and writing related activity.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Memphis Tennessee. My adult exerience there infuences my writing more so than growing up there.
When did you first start writing?
In elementary school. I remember writing a short story about a secret agent that kills himself. Later I worried that my teacher who gave me this assignment thoughtg I was suicidal.
What's the story behind your latest book?
There are several stories. First of all it has elements of autofiction. Then it has some historical novel qualittes that make up the background of the book. Worst of all and hope it is not discovered it is about medical sociology which is high on the boredom continum. But hey let's just call it a detective novel and hope for the best.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
First of all I do not want to spin my wheels and waste a lot of time becoming a traditonal author when the odds are so high on that happenping. I am not expecting to set the world on fire with my first book. If a large number of people like it then that is success to me. If the first book succeeds then some agent or publishing company would want to pick me up.

Second since I have run my own business for a number of years jumping into the indie publsihing pool does not itimitate me. Sink or swim I say. What a good way to learn the business. Also I can use my existing business to also handle publishing.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Looking at a blank page and then looking at it again to see it full of writing.
