Interview with Ophelia Kanisha Kurnia

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is that I get to express myself more, since I'm the type that will hide their feelings away. that's just how I am I'm a cry baby and each time I did something wrong I'd rather write them instead of talking things out, you know something a friend of mine told me that I'm mentally strong but that still doesn't change the fact that I have a weak heart.
What do your fans mean to you?
Fans to me means a lot, I mean they are the ones who'll you up just by their comments and they are the ones to decide if my works are worth it, they are the ones that makes the world go round I bet it's nice to have tons of fans ready to support you since I only have a few and that's why I hold them dear.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I'm not writing I would be reading other authors work you know I'm still young and I need some guide here and there, I especially love ancient Greeks story any story that has an Historical elements to it I'll read them, especially when it's mixed with cliche romance and angst.
Describe your desk
Well my desk is neat and sometimes it's dirty ahahaha, that's what happnes when you're young you know.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grow up at Bali, Indonesia, so I go to see tons of tourists talking in their own receptive language it's kind of fun to listen to them talking and trying to understand them by their expression, and body language, I wouldn't think highly of my English right now since I might be a beginner even though I listen to my stepfather talking with me with English. I also enjoys Japanese language.
Who are your favorite authors?
my favorite author is....Masashi Kishimoto the creator of Naruto, Mashima Hiro creator of Fairy Tail and so on. I have tons I sure do just that I'm worst at memorizing peoples name but I do memorize their face hahaha
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The fact that there's something I must find in my life
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Oh, the first one is about a...mermaid I was still a kid back then it was the first memory I have ever made so, I just woke up from an odd dream where there's lamb jumping over the fence and stuff, then I woke up and run around the house soon I got bored and i tried to write a story of a mermaid that's all I remembered.
What is your writing process?
Imagine things then write if I ever got bored I would read another novel and when I have another Idea I write it down
