Interview with Molina Storm

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing is knowing that there will be someone in the world reading my thoughts, feeling the emotions of the text. I hope to stir something within each reader that will cause them to want to read more of my work.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I'm not writing I'm either watching movies, reading or daydreaming about going on a long a cruise. I have been planning the same trip for the last few years.
How do you approach cover design?
I usually hire a cover designer. I have ideas for a great cover but unfortunately I was not blessed with the gift of digital creativity. I let the pros handle it and I tweek the design as we go.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read medical/legal thrillers, biographies, erotica, some romance, inspirational tales as well. I like to think I have a broad range of interest.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing stories at the age of 8, I began writing full blown novels by high school and erotica within the last two years.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I am the girl next door you wouldn't expect to have a kinky side. With my vivid imagination I wanted to let out my inner dominatrix with my short erotic story 'Invitation Only' I knew if I enjoyed the idea of dominating a powerful man that maybe there was someone else out here who would as well.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I am a bit of a control freak so I liked the idea of controlling my own literary fate. I also don't take well to rejection or receiving a small portion of royalties for my work. So the best option for me was to publish as an indie author. This gives me maximum freedom and control while receiving a higher percentage of my hard work.
What are you working on next?
Invitation Only is a part of an "anything goes fetish club" series so I will cater to a variety of fetishes before the series is over.
Who are your favorite authors?
One of my favorite authors is Alexandre Dumas, he wrote "The Count of Monte Cristo" my favorite book. There is something sexy about getting revenge and finding redemption and the author depicts them both so well.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I personally prefer my laptop for reading books. Primarily because I spend so much time on it anyway.
