Interview with Kelly Carpo

What do your fans mean to you?
Everything. They are the backbone to a Authors success.
What are you working on next?
I haven't decided yet.
Who are your favorite authors?
Scott Toney, Lilliet Garrison, Darrell Case, Jeannie Samuels,Edward Mrkvika, John A. Jacobsen and so many more that I don't have room here to list them. But you can find them on my website.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
God our Father. I never know what wonderful things he has for me each day. I can't wait to find out.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading the bible, nonfiction books about bettering myself for the Lord, playing with my dog and taking care of my husband.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I look for them on different websites.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It was a sad story of my past. It was before I heard the calling of the Lord. For some reason I decided it wasn't what I wanted to write about. Now I know it was the Lord telling me I could put it all in the past if I just ask him. Took awhile but I finally did, now I just look forward to the future. By the way, I tore up that story, it helped a bit. It felt like I was destroying something evil. I've never regretted it to this day.
What is your writing process?
From the heart where the Lord lives.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
"Beginning of the End" by John A. Jacobsen. It's what fired me up to want to read more. I couldn't get enough after that and just kept reading everything I could find on the End times.
How do you approach cover design?
Scott Toney, a good friend offered to create one for this book. I think he did a wonderful job. It's more than I imagined.
What are your favorite movies.
The Ten Commandments, The Greatest Story Every Told, The Bible (new and old version), Jesus of Nazareth, King of Kings, and for fun I like Ice Age the series, Shrek the series, Lord of the Rings series and Star Wars the series. There are a lot more but that's a start.
