Self confidence, thirst of knowledge, family sentiment, creativity and personal excellence
What motivated you to become an indie author?
You see, internet technology inspires ebooks and it is inexpensive to buy and create them and most of the time is free.

My very own experience speaks - I wrote a book but I have hard time to publish it, I approached many people from my enemy, friends, family and including a lady who happened to be a sister of Filipina here in Iran that run her publishing house in the Philippines but I was told it would cost me about 1,750 USD to publish my 170 pages book.

After many months things are not moving forward then I read an article about self-publishing online and decided to give it a shot. I decided to published at Indeed motivated me even more. Here you can see the power of the ebook and internet publishing. As I discussed and explored in my next book (writing in progress).

One of my early challenges is when I wanted to publish a book without first knowing why I wanted it in the first place. I used to insist and keep on telling myself that I want to publish my book and become a published author before I reach 40. Then, I will promote my book by participating in the yearly Tehran book fair that held every month of May at the Iran's huge capital. But what I really wanted and at least capable of doing is to become indie author.

I became an indie author because of Smashwords!

Another ebook that tells about exploring possibilities and wider horizon - I will disclose the title at the right time.
