What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Sharing my heart and passion in words that only through writing can describe, being able to help others by inspiring them
What do your fans mean to you?
the world, I would not be writing without them! Thank you to each of you that have supported me on this endeavor!
What are you working on next?
I am working on a few things:
1 Turning my book into a play.
2. Writing a book about how people view others
Who are your favorite authors?
anything that is inspirational, but especially Christian author Mark Batterson
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
being able to make a difference in the lives of others
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
musical theatre, teaching, coffee dates
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Cross between kindle and on my phone amazon app
Describe your desk
messy but organized, if someone saw my desk they would say how do you function. it appears messy, but i do know where everything is
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I wrote was about someone puncturing my mom's car tires due to me not looking disabled. I was 9 years old.
What is your writing process?
usually write a little daily, i keep a timer, but usually it is brainstorming with a million pieces of sticky note paper all over and then heading over to Caribou Coffee with my music plugged in and writing, followed by printing it off and then editing my work
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
facebook, my website, twitter, linkedin, still trying to find other new ways, mostly word of mouth and facebook
What's the story behind your latest book?
people inspired me to write and I wanted to give back to those that gave to me
What motivated you to become an indie author?
sharing my story and providing hope and inspiration to others
