Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born in Southie (South Boston MA.) but grew up in a suburb 28 miles away called Hanson, it was a small town with not much to do about anything, so the mind would tend to daydream a lot.
When did you first start writing?
1979 after i had an epiphany visiting the USS Massachusetts.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The book series are all connected as they cover the events of half Filipino half American family and several other characters with similar mixed racial heritage. Although i point out their ethnic diversity it is still a story of heroes and great deeds.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wanted to give my children heroes they could be proud of

Not sure, I hope so
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Finishing it and realizing the characters spoke as they should and acted as I expected, regardless of how I wanted the story to go the characters seem to speak to me as I write, correcting me when i make them do something they wouldn't

Princess of Mars. It made me open my mind.
