Interview with Olga GOA

When did you first start writing?
At 2013 year after read famous erotic romance books.
What's the story behind your latest book?
This story about love between woman and man in nowdays, about passion and disbelief, about fear and not under controling emotions. It's story how man or woman can change in relationships, how's their temper or nature can be destroying for them both or maybe it's their salvatory plot. I ask my readers - what emotions can kill a personality or what will safe? Has difference between love and passion, lust or desire? Do we really know what we feel when we meet another person? Can we be sure that is love, not passion? Readers should answer this question themselves.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grow up in Russia, Moscow, i was studying in two schools - music and ordinary and after finished them wend to University. Then I finished economy university at 2006 year with red diplom. After that i begun to work by accountant. In one's own time i was creating fan art for my favourite books or movies as making videos. Soon i decided adding to my hobby - reading. I started to read and couldn't stop. I fell in love with books and some of them pushed me to start to write, print my story, my special plot about love. That's how i became a writer.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I decided to be independent writer cause want to express my emotions free, not listen another people, cause it damages to my book and point of it. I decided to choose right way for my book, cause I want it depends on myself only: how I advertise that and another things.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
People can know my books well and maybe will be instrested in author too :)
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Greatest goy of writing for me - when i can express my emotions fully, without shy, when i don't distract, and can write in silence and my fantasy world wouldn't be damage by reality.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are my critics, my admirers and my friends. They show me way how to write better and how intrigue them in next time, at my next book. Of course, any writer loves to read beautiful reviews but also writer should accept negative too, in some ways it helps - it's good critic, in another ways it makes writer stronger, author forgets about haters and move on!
What are you working on next?
Of course, i do. I write simultaneously several books and hope they will find a place in my readers' hearts too. I have a lot of projects for future.

Cause i love a lot of books and don't want to offend another, but i just tell about my most favourites: Russian writers - Michael Bulgakov, Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Pushkin, Michael Lermontov, Alexander Blok, Anna Ahmatova, and etc. English and American writers - E.L. James, Sylvia Day, Sylvain Reynard, Lisa Kleypas, Jamie McGuire, Kate Evans, and more. It's needs a month to announce whole list.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My family and my work, specially writing work. It gives me really great therapy to stay calm, peaceful and kind. I try to do my best.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When i'm free - i listen music, watch photography, read books, going for a walk, dance as i want and i can, sing or play on piano, go to cinema and relax if have time for that - just don't think about anything and fly to dreamy land. :)))
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
At internet, sometimes ask my writers friends what to read.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yeah, it was about poor girl and rich man. Hope someday i will decide to finish it and puiblish.
What is your writing process?
Feel free myself in my thoughts, don't think about life, watch movie in my head and hurry up to describe this until pictures from my mind wouldn't go away.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Wow, first story? I think in childhood, when I was reading Russian fairy tale. I just imagined whole story and it was so magically for me, so i decided to read it again. After that when my dad tried to read it to me, i just stopped him and begun to tell it by heart. My dad was in pleasant shock :)))
