What do you read for pleasure?
I love historical and adventure stories with humor. I love readers digest and national geographic.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle-tablet.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Word of mount, direct phone calls, Facebook, Twister and emails.
Describe your desk
My desk is busy. I love to multi-task.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Nigerian and my first book called "Thrill of the Rookie" Is a narrative of immigrant success secrets everyone needs to know.
When did you first start writing?
My first book " Thrill of the Rookie was published in 2012.
Kirkus Review described it as Engaging.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's about challenges faced by two inter-racial couple in a racially divided society.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Life experience motivated me. I came to the United States with less than $400 in my pocket and beat the odds in spite of adversities just like most Nigerian first generation immigrants.
I needed to let people know that failure is a choice especial in the United States that I defied in the book as a culture of excess.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
This is my first book on your platform. I am yet to see, but my expectations and confidence in Smashwords is high.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The ability to reach people everywhere and motivate them with my own story. It may change someone's life, because everyone we meet knows a few things we don't know.
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean the world to me because they are the only reason for writing at all. I am hoping to reach a greater audience and make the Word a better for all.
What are you working on next?
I am working on the " Omega Man", "Judgement Night" and "The American Resume"
Who are your favorite authors?
Chinua achebe, William Shakespeare and
Suzanne Collins.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The people I love, my family and everyday presents a new opportunity to give back to the society that has given me so much..
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend it reading, watching historical television channels, taking my kids to different kind of practices, or church and community activities.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Mostly online, and on television talk show.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
It was a story of a place page who became the prime minister because he put his special gifts to maximum use.
It's called " Sitting on Gold Mine" We all have something we enjoy doing and in-fact do it better than most people.
Only if we can identify it and make the most of it.
What is your writing process?
I plot my story into parts. Write the first draft, continuously improve and amend it from there until I send it to an editors for input and amendments.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes my first story: "Sitting on Gold Mine"
My teacher and classmates loved it. I thought their reactions were over exaggerated then. I later found out that it was a true and honest expression of their feelings.
How do you approach cover design?
I give it to a graphic designer who knows about book covers. I have learnt that a beautify cover is just as important as a great content especially for upcoming authors.

"Thing Fall Apart" Sunset At Down" No Longer At Ease" "Romeo and Juliet" and "Julius Caesar"
I read all of them in "High School Literature Class" and they formed the basis of my love for reading and writing stories.
