Interview with Oscar Sanders

What's the story behind your latest book Final Hearing?
The correlation between politics and morality as well as ethics, as they relate to civic responsibility. How a person can be lured, or more specifically dragged into the muddy waters of politics and have their lives changed forever. How a person can be punished over and over again for crime they were already convicted of. How personal intimate relationships are tested by other relationships when layers of stress are infused. Why trophies are so important to killers? Does revenge really solve your problems or do they create new ones?
What is your writing process?
Thoughts and visions or something or someone would say and then writing bullet notes as questions to myself as issues that should be tackled and answered in the book or film
How do you approach cover design?
I'm a filmmaker, so everything is visual for me. What do I want the viewer to receive from this cover or poster? What question do I want the viewer to ask himself? I want the viewer to say to himself, Damn, I need to read this book!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
There are two joys: Seeing my words in black and white and second, when others come up to me or write me and say that they really enjoyed my writing and book. It was all worth it and quite satisfying.
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean everything to me-they motivate me to continue to satisfy them.
What are you working on next?
The sequel to Final Hearing
Who are your favorite authors?
