Interview with Joseph Tefaye

Hi. So, tell us, who is Joseph Tefaye?
I am French of origin and emigrated to Australia in 1968. I graduated with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney. That was a natural progression for me since, from a very young age, I didn't like my toys until I found out how they worked. Until then, they held a "secret" from me and I didn't like that... So I took them apart and when I discovered how they worked, then I was happy and liked them. Problem is, I could never put them back together again! This crazy obsession with understanding how everything works, and why, became a part of my being and drives me in all that I do. But it goes further than that. I am a person who questions accepted wisdom and am ready to consider anything and everything, such as, for example, how come it is that, while we share 98% of our DNA with Chimpanzees, we can speak intelligibly, build rockets that take us to Mars and build Sky Scrapers, when Chimpanzees cannot. Why. But that's a story for another book...
How did come to write your eBook, The Third Element?
A sequence of events, really. I am 69 years of age today and, luckily, I have been very healthy throughout my life. Lots of sport and good food. I had a mild heart attack in June of 2009 and another in September of that year. My wife and children having put untold pressure on me to quit, I rushed to the Pharmacy and bought Nicotine patches and thought I was convinced that I was on my way to quitting this horrible habit. I struggled with it, tried Nicotine Gum, inhaler, but, none of them worked and I went back to smoking. Then, years later, my best friend, a smoker, was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. That was such a shock that I decided to address the issue that Nicotine Replacement Therapy didn't work, and Why.
So, what happened?
Well, in typical fashion, I asked myself a simple question, which was "Since, when we try to quit smoking, we crave Nicotine, wouldn't it stand to reason that applying a Nicotine Patch, which "replaces" the Nicotine we crave, do the trick?". Considering that over 80% of all smokers who try NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy) go back to smoking, NRT clearly does not work. Logically then, there must be "something else" that we miss when we attempt to do without a cigarette. The question was what was it?

In time, quite by accident, I stumble on it. I came to the conclusion that the smoking habit, as we know it, consists of Two Elements. The first being the Nicotine craving, the second being the Fiddling with the cigarette, which underlines the social aspect of smoking. Traditionally, those are the only two Elements that were ever considered in the development of the various "Aids" that have come to the fore to help smokers quit.

At that time, I knew that, in order to solve that riddle, I had to discover the "missing" Element, which I baptized The Third Element.
That sounds elegant. But does it work?
Most definitely. As soon as I discovered what it was, I put it into action and Never craved a cigarette again.

I am so confident that those smokers who find, and buy, my book will, upon implementing my Quit Solution, stop smoking Instantly, and Painlessly, that I am offering one and all a Money Back Guarantee, if, for some reason, the Third Element does not work for them.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that The Third Element will save many lives, as it did my own.

The Third Element is a Physiological based Element that has been missing from All Quit approaches, which is why so many of us fail at quitting. Without it, quitting would be akin to trying to starting your car without fuel in the Tank! The Third Element complements other Quit Aids perfectly, especially NRT, which has been indicted as a waste of money by Harvard and MIT. You Will quit. Guaranteed.
