I can't remember which was first but either one written at school about a lonely old sailor who lived in a shack by the pier who was befreinded by a young boy called 'Mouse'. Or it was my attempt at writing a 'James Bond' style story called 'Firefly', all typed into a very old typewriter that had a missing 'e'.

It really depends on what genre i am writing, but for my erotica i tend to think of a basic idea, then just begin to write and see where it takes me, letting the story develop of it's own accord. I do create notes on characters, explore google earth regarding the locations, but i do not try to plan much further ahead than the chapter i am currently working on. Concentrating on the 'present' and seeing where it goes from there makes it feel more realistic, like life itself.

I enjoy many genre's including Thriller; Conspiracy, Historical, Biography.

'Telephone Central!'..... Mobile phones, charging and connecting leads and a Landline seem to dominate the areas of my desk that are not filled with keyboard and mouse. The upper level has twin monitors, one on which i have 'Word' to write and the other on which i have google earth and other reference material.

I grew up around the border areas of South London and Kent, and a short time in Sydney in Australia.

As a child when still at school, then gave up to follow new interests and my chosen career, returning again in my mid thirties to write a biographical account of my life in my occupation. I then took another pause until i found myself out of work due to illness as i approached 50.

This one is a follow on from 'Connectivity', which proved so popular amongst my readers and friends they requested more. Friends all want to be involved and be part of the story, i try to use their individual traits and characteristics and discretly changing names they become 'characters' within the books. This book now approaching completion has already set the need for a third in the series.

It has enabled the opportunity of publishing which would not have been financially possible through normal hardback style publishing

I have just finished a follow up to one of my earlier books 'Connectivity'. 'Waves of Pleasure' will be published very soon.

Some of the earliest i can remember were the works of Nevill Shute, Dennis Weatley, Enid Blyton.

Once my working title is changed to the final one, I think about the contents of the book then look for graphics that match the contents. I use a similar identifiable background for most of my books so that my readers know instantly it is one of mine.
