"April and the Unthinkable" at its core is a story about empowerment and discovering yourself. I am passionate about self development and creating your own happiness, so I wanted to explore that concept in a genuine way. Life is messy and love is complicated. You cannot be happy without making a few mistakes.
What is your favorite thing about writing?
Storytelling is incredibly human. It's how we learn; it's how we connect to each other. There are as many stories as there are people in this world and I get so much joy from highlighting the details that make each story unique.
Describe your desk
My desk is Ikea white, with a stack of vintage poetry books I have collected over the years and way too many Sharpies. (I am not afraid to admit that have a problem.)
