Interview with Vivienne Rose

Published 2020-03-06.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born in California but I grew up all over the United States from California to Indiana. I believed this influence my writing by showing me different experiences and seeing different places.
When did you first start writing?
The first book I wrote was in kindergarten. It was about Dinosaurs, I barely remember it but I was proud when everyone was reading it. It was my first writer's high, I was set on being a writer and creating stories ever since.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Lesbian shapeshifting romance goodness.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The feedback I get from others. I love knowing they were happy with my story. I was able to transport them to a different world. Reading for me is an escape, it is nice to think about something else for a while. I love knowing I have done that for someone else.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything, my fans are the reason I write. I want to share these stories with them, every story is for my fans. That is why I love doing custom stories.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, working, taking care of my family, playing video games, crocheting, traveling, and exploring.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I do not remember the first story I ever read, but I remember reading a lot of Roald Dahl when I was little. I loved his books, especially, The Witches. I remember losing time as I explored his world and his characters.
What do you read for pleasure?
I will read anything except war books and westerns. I like some western romance but then again I love all romance books. My favorite is erotica, erotic romance, and romance. I also love a good psychological thriller or horror book.
