Interview with Quincy Freeman

When did you first start writing?
I spent 15 years traveling the world gaining various insights through a woman’s eyes with a global perspective. Africa, Europe, Asia, and so far America is the most bizarre – go figure. But as I say in Identity in Love “Home is where the Heart is”. I have earned my bachelor’s degree in business administration and after graduating I went to own my own business with over twenty-five employees and fourteen locations all over Jersey. I only grew because of my work in press releases, which caught the attention of Market Watch, Yahoo Finance and some of the biggest names. My writing has translated over finances and I believe it will over genres.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Three people in one story; all have a different life that may not be so different after all. Christine, Dave and Charles are all living separately but will soon find out how close love can connect all, which are loved by it. A career driven woman, a careful calculated man, and a relentless romantic find themselves in a place too soon to need each other, and it’s up to them to figure that out.

Some people in life are destined to be together,

Some just happen,

And others find their way in between.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have always found that an individual track is most likely a swift celerity.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has given me a tremendous platform for growth and expansion of my vision as an author.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The liberty of the creative process just astounds me.
What do your fans mean to you?
The world!
What are you working on next?
Identity in Love Part II will be coming next, but the first one is to die for.
Who are your favorite authors?
Nicholas Sparks & Daric Loo
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The knowing that someone, some day will benefit from reading a piece of my literature.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Researching or engaged in a speaking conference.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Search for the most interesting topic that may be significant in my life, which commonly would be romance.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
A letter running away, but as I grew older - Home is Where the Heart is (Ch. 11)
