Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I remember reading A Town Called Alice by Neville Shute and The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, by Alan Sillitoe at school. We also read The Hobbit, which was my favourite of the time.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the university town of Loughborough. My stories bear no resemblance to my upbringing or surroundings
What's the story behind your latest book?
I am currently writing humorous short stories that will be turned into an anthology
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I simply love words
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The dog's long, wet tongue lapping at my face!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Walking TJ the beagle, cooking, reading, TV

Genre search, usually

At this moment in time, I create my own
What are your three favorite books and why?
The Hobbit - I remember reading it at school, so it must've made an impression
All Charles Bukowski - I like his blunt style
H.P. Lovecraft - He uses language so beautifully

Seriously, about a year ago
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wanted to leave my mark on the world (you know, before I join the choir invisible)
