Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
True Grit by C. Pontis. It was a novel about U.S. Marshal Rooster Cogburn. However, as most I made the mistake of seeing the movie first. Now anytime I see the movie I feel sick about the way it was cut and edited. But, I did learn then that reading was much better than movies. Before my first serious book, I did read all the Golden Books when I was a child, along with the Dr. Seuss books.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
True Grit, my first serious book. Changed my life and the way I watched movies. Hell House. Scared me half to death, but I just couldn't put it down. The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. As a FreeMason, I just had to see how close he was to the truth. I won't go any further than that. Last of the Dogmen. It was a great book, went way further into details about a lost Indian Tribe in Montana. The movie did a great job with it. The Castle Affair. By Winter Brooks. An erotic historical tale. There's a couple of reviews on GoodReads and Amazon by me. She's a very talented author. Jessica Nyman is a new young author who has a erotic historical series. Any of her books are great. Can't pick out any certain one. Jamie Agee, any of her books are just great. When I read her work I just can't put it down until I finish. She lacks confidence in herself due to poor marketing but she's great. All her books are on here, she follows me and at her website there are a lot of freebies.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love erotica. All kinds of erotica. I have over 1000 books listed on GoodReads that came from Amazon, around 300 on Barns & Noble. Lots from here, and Excita the new company from Selina Kitt. Also have a lot of PDF's and Word files sent to me from Authors for reviews.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I use my iPad most of the time, I use Kendle, Nook, iBook, and am able to open both Word and PDF formats on it. That's my preference as iBooks aren't available on a PC. Bad Apple.
Describe your desk
It's clean right now except for the 27" HP monitor, a keyboard, mouse, and my Neet Scanner. My Ex came and cleaned the house for me and she did a great job.
What do your fans mean to you?
The Authors that trust me enough to send there work to me gives me great feelings, as there trusting me with their livelihood. Most of them have never been reviewed, or sold. I'm rated Number 80 on Amazon, so I not only get books but other items as well. The trust they put in me just makes me feel really special.
Who are your favorite authors?
Oh wow, too many to say. Lately, Chloe Thurlow, Jamie Agee, Jessica Nyman, Winter Brooks, L Hannover, Jeanne S. Clarke, Annie Edmonds, Cheri Versette, Kitty Fine, Keily Kregory, just to mention a few. There are many many more.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Being a Paraplegic it takes a lot. But I have a new Grandson who is in here every morning to see me and is trying to talk to me. I also have two other Grandsons, and a Granddaughter that were placed with my daughter and son in law 11 years ago that keep me active with baseball, swimming, hitting the amusement parks, etc... My daughter and son in law are in the process of adopting them now. The ages are 17. 14, 12' and 1. My Mom has Altzimers so I'm pretty busy these days. And currently my step brother and best friend has liver cancer. He's not well at all, but later this month they will remove at least half his liver. Hopefully after that I can take some time off. I get a lot of reading done at hospitals and doctors offices currently. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I'm a FreeMason. This is the first year that I've had to take time away from and hope to resume my duties there soon.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Geneva, Alabama, then after my mother and father divorced I moved to the panhandle of Florida. Two small towns, New Hope, I attended school in Alabama. And Bethlehem in New Hope. In the 11th grade. I moved to Ponce De Leon, Florida. I attended school at Ponce de Leon High School, yes small schools, K thru 12 in one location. After I graduated high school, I moved to Central Florida where I now still reside. I attended Florida Technical College for Computer Programming after an auto accident left me with a broken back and paralyzed. I worked at Saint Leo College, now Saint Leo University for a very long time. One of the Benifits of working there was we as well as our family, daughter, wife got a college education for free, only the cost of books. I took a few writting classes but have never been brave enough to publish anything. Soon I hope.
