Interview with Bianca Wynters

What are your five favorite books, and why?
I have so many books that I love. I am a sucker for a romance series that takes you through the gauntlet of a relationship. Off the top of my head I can say The Driven Series (K. Bromberg), KGI series (Maya Banks), Crossfire series (Sylvia Day) and Fifty Shades of Grey (E L James) are all favorites of mine. However, I cannot leave out my favorite paranormal authors, Larissa Ione, Gena Showalter, and Kresley Cole. I know there are so many more great authors and books that I love; there is just no way to name them all.
What do you read for pleasure?
Everything. When I am not working I am either reading or writing.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I read on my Samsung Note tablet, this way I can have apps for multiple readers. In all honesty I can say that I use my Nook app more than anything.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town. We did move around quite a bit, but looking back it was always to another small town. I moved to Dallas when I was eighteen and that was a shock to the system, but I absolutely loved it. Since I have lived in both small towns and a couple different big cities it allows me to use the varied perspectives in my writing; it helps me to see thinvs that my characters may find o their journey.
When did you first start writing?
As long as I can remember I have loved reading. As I made my way through school I found that writing was not hard for me, I simply had way of putting things to paper. There are times I feel like I can express myself better on paper than orally.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Love From Disaster comes from learning that sometimes we hang onto feelings or thoughts because it is what we know. Sometimes it takes a tragedy to make you realize things are not what we want to believe them to be; especially when it comes to the heart.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has allowed me to make my dream of publishing come true and in doing so it has let me share my stories with others.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I enjoy developing the characters. They come to life as the story unfolds. I like that it lets me escape reality for just a little while
What are you working on next?
I have a couple of stories unfolding, one of them is exploring more of Cassie's story along with a few of her friends
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
There are many reasons to get out of bed, my children being first in line. I generally look forward to work and spending time with family and friends; you never know when something will happen or be said that can spark creativity.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Taking care of my family, spending time with friends and reading. My children tend to keep me busy with extracurricular activities so I am on the move a lot, but thats the good thing about reading and writing they can be portable.
