Interview with Royal Scribe

How long have you known you've been a writer?
Well, language has always been one of my best subjects. I was in spelling bees as a child. I corrected my teachers spelling and grammar when I was in elementary school (didn't endear me to them). When I was in high school, we took the Regents exams. In the English Regents, one of the tasks was to write a story. All these years later, I can't recall the details of that story, but what I do remember was that I got into a zone! The ideas just flowed, and I wrote and wrote and wrote and wrote! I wrote all the way up until the final minute, and I don't even think I had a chance to look it over before I handed it in. I remember weeks later that I was walking the halls in my school and heard a teach tell another teacher, "that's the one over there," in reference to me.

I've written other books and poems. I've writen for newspapers, ghost written for other authors. I had never written a novel before, but the idea came to me and I decided to give it a try.
How did the idea for Cockswords & Berries come about?
Well, it came from an experience with my own sex life. It was a confluence of different ideas, different "twists," different fantasies and certain phrases that came up during bedplay with a partner..

Words to the effect of "when I walk down the street with you, I want the world to know that we f---k!" came up in a conversation. Also, the concept of being "stained" by one's lover also came up in the emails we shared between each other. I think it was that "stained" comment that sparked something. As you know, Rivasor is a land in which you can't hide who you're having sex with, for if a woman's skin comes into contact with a Rivasor man's semen, a stain is triggered that is an announcement of your bedsheet activities.
What is your writing process?
I write early in the mornings from about 4am to 6am. That's when the voices speak most clearly to me.
What was the process for THIS book?
Well, about 37 months ago, the council members and cluster folk of the erostopian realm of Rivasor began their channeled communication with me. They gave me a peek into their reality and I shared that preview here on Smashwords as well as a few other erotica sites.

The feedback was encouraging: about 2,000 downloads here on Smashwords, 6,000 views on lushstories and other downloads from the rivasor.com site.

Sadly, however, just as quickly as those voices appeared, they stopped, and that preview was all that existed for quite some time.
Then, mysteriously, six months ago, the voices returned. Maiden Reina, the King, the two palace maidens, Bronson and a host of other characters all came back, ready, it seemed, to tell their stories! Now, I can finally share this first installment in the "Stained in Rivasor" series. Now you can finally read what happens when....

Get ready! As one reader put it, this is "Lord of the Rings" meets "Deep Throat!" However, be warned and beware. If you choose to embark on this adventure, you may never wish to go back. For you know what they say,

"Feel ye but once the Rivasor burn,
back to thy cluster thou mayst not return"
Do you wish to tell the world if you are male or female? There's no mention of it in any of your media materials.
I'll leave that to the reader's imagination.
