Interview with Ruth Punton

What's the story behind your latest book?
A couple of friends told me about the same time that they had been sexually abused by their fathers. I started off writing a novel about sexual abuse but the story had a life of its own and took me to places unknown, in more ways than one.

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wrote this novel awhile ago and its been sitting on a shelf. After a couple of days I suddenly thought about my novel on the shelf and here it is.
How do you approach cover design?
I think about the story and then look for appropriate images that I pull apart to build what I want in Photoshop
