Interview with Salman Aziz

Hello, Salman! How are you doing these days? Would you tell me where did you grow up and when you have begun to write?
Hello! First of all I love to thank you for setting an interview for me! It is really meant to me a lot! And yeah, I am doing well! Thank you once again for asking. How are you? Actually I grew up in different city in Bangladesh. My birth place was Pabna, I went there very few times. And I mostly grew up in Kushtia and Dhaka city both. I’ve begun to write on my early age. When I was in class 4 I started to write small rhymes and stories on my local newspaper and also to my school magazine. In that time I used to write in Bengali. Cause Bengali is my native language. When I was in class 8, I begun to write in English. My home tutor helped me a lot to develop myself and that was the beginning of all. Then in 2014 I officially created my own blog site on google blog spot. There I got huge response around the world. And now in this year I debut as indie author.
You're welcome Salman! I am well. Thank you! Salman, from your biography and some internet sources we got to know that you have another name “AKA$H”. Please tell me the reason behind of it? And why you didn’t use this name as author?
Yeah! Actually that is nick name which has been stylized by my fan in 2014. My nick name is Akash and in 2014 I made a symbolic short film named “Bloody Dark Dream” and unfortunately some people liked it and become my fan. You might be thinking that why I didn’t become a video maker. Right? I always wanted to be something different that people don’t think! That’s why I try to do everything when my mind wants. And yes, I didn’t want to use my nick name. Because I wanted to introduce my full name to the people along side of my nick name and it’s stylize version. So I use both name to introduce myself.
Well! That’s interesting! So you have many talents that I can see! OK, Salman you are from Bangladesh, so why you didn’t publish your book in your native language?
Wonderful question! Because I didn’t want to. Although English is my second language, but I dared to write my book in English to reach globally. I don’t know how much I’ve reached to the people. But still I am in try. Because, English is the international language and if I want to show myself in international platform then I must know the English. I am still learning English day by day. Cause I know I need to improve myself more.
Salman, please tell me about your book and where did you get the inspiration to write the story?
Well! As you can see from my book summary that the book is about a teen suicide story, where the lead character Aabrar Rahman committed to suicide due to several pain and depression. And for assuring that the story is based on real event. All the events are true but the characters are fictional. I dared to write the story in this way and tried to put much realism into it. I don’t know how much I am successful! But one thing I can say people will love it if they read it. The reason behind of the book “6th September: A Very Unknown Mysterious Story” is that around us so many teenagers killed themselves due to depression issues and lots of reasons. In this way I can show the people that they need help when the people see them depressed or in trouble. The story is just a beginning and its sequel will unfold the mystery why he killed himself. The book is actually to raise the awareness in the world about teen suicide.
How do you feel about working with us?
Being honest! I feel so wonderful to work with you! As an indie author it is great opportunity to work with you. You are wonderful publisher and gave me the chance to become an author. I am so grateful to you.
You welcome, Salman! Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yeah! I still can remember. When I was in college I wrote a short tragic story for our college writing competition in Bengali. Although the story didn’t selected by the selecting panel for being sad story, but my teachers liked it much. And from my blogs you can see I actually write on reality that show the truth through my eyes.
What are you working on next?
Currently I am working on my several projects like video making and also writing. As I’ve earlier mentioned that I am working on the sequel of my first book “6th September: A Very Unknown Mysterious Story” and with that I am also working on other things which will be headed to publish on next year. And I am trying to do something different this time, because I don’t want to do stereotype things all the time.
Salman, would you tell me who are your favorite authors?
Well! I like all the authors who dedicated their life on writing. Because I know writing is not an easy stuff! So I do respect all the authors in this world. And yes, I like those authors much who write their stuff in true way to show the people, to encourage them and motivate them. With that I like Nobel Prize winner world famous Bengali writer Rabindranath Tagore and famous English writer William Shakespeare. They inspire me a lot.
I really do respect your opinion. Salman what is your goal in life?
Thank you! My goal in life is to be something worldwide and create my own signature on this world by my works to motivate and inspire others. And yes, I always want to be a better person than I am, a helpful person to help the people who really need help and encourage them to help others. And an influencer to influence other people to do good works in this world. My motive in life to make the world peaceful and create the love and respect among us!
Wish you all the best for your goal. We are reaching our last question, what do your fans mean to you?
Thanks a lot! One thing I can say about my fans that I am nothing without them. If my fans don’t want me, then I will be nothing. I love and respect my fans. Only their love and support make me to go forward. I just love my fans a lot. They are everything to me.
