Interview with Sanyam Sadana

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I think that something inside me motivates me to write. I started writing stories and poetry when I was just 12 years old.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords proved to be the best platform to publish my work. I had been writing since I was just 12 years old, but didn't got any platform to publish my work. Smashwords provided with a great marketplace for my work.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are very dear to me. I am very grateful to the people who like my work and love to read my books.
What are you working on next?
I am working on a series of novels based on democratical ideas and revolutions.
Who are your favorite authors?
Shakespeare is the greatest poet and dramatist I had ever heard about.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am a student yet, and often play games on my console when not writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I tried to write a short adventurous story when I was 12 years old, but I later turned it into a long novel!
What is your writing process?
Well, I do not have a particular process! Whenever a story revolves in my mind, I quickly pen it down.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I read was...probably The Rabbit and The Tortoise. I learnt from it that we should never be overconfident.
How do you approach cover design?
I use Coral Draw to design my book-covers. This keeps my cover designs simple.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read Shakespeare's plays for pleasure. They truly touch my inner spirit.

Are you born in a middle-class family? That’s excellent! Or, are you born in a poor family? That’s outstanding! I’m not joking! I just want to tell you, and will be telling you throughout this book, that how interesting it is to born poor, and then, just by the power of your brain, which is still thinking how to be at the top of the world (am I wrong?), you will be seriously rich!
