What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing, is seeing in the end, how much my hard work has paid off. I put a lot of myself into my writing, so it is important to see what I am able to accomplish in just a matter of days
What are you working on next?
I am working on a story about myself, and how I overcame addiction, and what my life has become after I was able to get clean
Who are your favorite authors?
Nora Roberts, James Patterson, J.k. Rowling are just a few that I can think of right off the top of my head
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My 6 month old son, inspires me everyday to get up out of bed
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story that I ever wrote was about a Magic Ring, I was in 6th grade
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up with my mother and granparents, in Ft. Worth, TX.. The things that I saw around me, and what I observed when watching people, influenced my writing both positively and begatively
When did you first start writing?
I originally started writing when I was in the second grade
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing, I spend my time with my son, or just trying to have a leisurely day
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The First story I ever read, was A Child Called It, the impact it had on me, made me realize how lucky I was that my mother never treated me that way, and it made me want to help kids that go through that everyday of their lives
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest book is my struggle with addiction and how I overcame it
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean the world to me, without them and their support , I never would have gotten as far as I have
