Interview with Shioni Storms

When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was 8 years old with the help of my mother. It was a mess, and a lot of wrong grammars and spellings since I'm still 8 at that time.

I'm still improving my writing skills until now.

Simple answer.
Who are your favorite authors?
On the outside, it's Stephen King.

But here, I don't know.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Probably Lance McClain from Voltron: Legendary Defenders.

Or my friend, Akira.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend my time drawing characters for my books mostly.

I read other author's books rarely.

Sometimes I spend my time having fun with Akira.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Mother Nature.

It's about a girl who is controlling the weather and life. But since technology came, she was starting to fade away. A single tree can damage her arms, black smokes around the air makes her lungs burn, and the buildings rising and it burns her heart.

I made a boy who would save her. So he went back to the past to stop technology. But Nature said that nobody can ever change the past but you are free to change your future.

I'm not gonna spoil here.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Some are on Wattpad:
White Rose by Akikou
Alpha's mate by wutsupsnail
Dancing to our love by Patty-Thompson

And on the outside:
The graveyard book by Neil Gaiman
And the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
What genre do you write?
What genre do I write?

A slight gore.

Angst (Langst)
Lgbt
Fan fiction
Romance
Nonfiction
Supernatural
Fantasy
Etc.
What is the hardest thing about writing?
Hmm... probably the climax and falling action of the story.

To me, the hardest thing is the rising action and resolution.

Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not.
What were you like at school?
Seriously, dude?

Oh, well.

I was the weirdo in school, but nobody cared and I didn't care and they can naga their own lives.
Which author inspire you?
My mama!

She may not be an author, but she is the best.

She supported me and would gladly help me when I need to correct my grammar. I'm still bad until now.
Do you write everyday or are you scheduled?
I write when I am bored.

I'm not really scheduled because it pressures me.

I hate depression like what I am feeling when getting bullied. Baaakaa.

I write down my imaginations in Wattpad every time before it fades away in my brain.
Have you written any story collaboration with another writer?
Nobody. Nobody likes me anyways.

If you want to have a collaboration with me, I'd gladly accept your invitation.
How old are you?
I'm younger than Keith Kogane from Voltron.

I'm a month older than Wendy Marvel from Fairy Tail.

And I am a year younger than Jeff The Killer when he was 1* in 2006
What kind of a writer are you?
Personal.

I'm a writer who writes angst in it, sometimes I put some R18 scenes in it.

I mostly put some cheesy cliché in it.

I'm actually an evil writer 'cause I bring death in the end.

Not really. Just casual and lonely writer.
Why do you write?
Because I can!

Jk Jk Jk.

I write because I like to make my own manga (comic book). I still need improvement in writings and drawing.

In here:
I wanted to help my parents who are working hard for my education and for my future.

But I'm not begging for much money. I just wanted to help my parents.

They already gave so much for me, I just want to pay them back. I just don't know how when I don't get allowance like the other kids in school and I don't get much money for them.

I'm writing for fun.

I'm writing for them.

I'm writing for my family.

I'm writing because I want the people to see my strange world.

That's all.
