Interview with J P V

When did you first start writing?
I started to write seriously when I was nine. I wrote quite a few movie scripts. My sister then encouraged me to write a novel afterwards.
Do you remember the first book you've ever read?
No, but the first ever chapter book I ever read was THE WITCHES by Rolad Dahl when I was in kindergarten.
How old were you when you wrote your first book?
I remember that it was the middle of my second year in kindergarten when I wrote my first "story" rather than book. It was a story about a gingerbread man who hated a thermometer. But my first ever book was titled The Adventure In Egypt. I wrote it in Grade I and it beat all of the paperbacks that the other students made.
Describe your desk
Always messy. My older sister keeps yelling at me.
What is your writing process?
I just type away! I like the place where I'm writing to be quiet. But usually I have a couple of snacks next to me and I listen to some music.
