Interview with Stacey Harrison

What is your writing process?
I don't really have one. As crazy as it may sound people just pop into my head and bug the life out of me until I start to write them out.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Until There Was You is the first story I ever wrote. I have tweaked it and messed around with it a little but essentially this is it x
What do you read for pleasure?
I want to scream Christian Grey like a nutter but I am also a massive fan of Abbi Glines & Kristen Ashley. I have read and their books so many times I think I probably know them off by heart. I read a lot (I mean a lot) of romance books in general.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
To be honest I read on my phone a lot because I have to take it everywhere anyway so I always have something with me to read x
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me has to be becoming somebody else. Being somebody else, slipping inside myself to create a whole new person.
What do your fans mean to you?
I don't really have any. The ones I do have are mainly family and they mean everything. I am also on wattpad and the people that have took the time to message me or leave comments really do make my day. It's a brilliant feeling knowing somebody else loves your work.
What are you working on next?
I think I will be working on Adam and Ruby's story from Nothing Left To Lose. I am still playing around with idea's for them though. Maybe Kat deserves her own story.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
With my babies. I have a beautiful, insanely funny little girl who is four soon. She never fails to make me smile. Also my little man, he is my happy little dude. My rainbow on a rainy day. Spending time with my family is the only thing I enjoy more than reading really.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I thought this would be an easy one but how do I choose only five!
1.Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy by E L James. I can't just choose one because they are all equally important. I love these books. The angst, the love, the emotional roller coaster is just amazing.
2. Rush and Blair! (Rosemary Beach) By Abbi Glines. I love these almost as much as Fifty Shades. I most defiantly have Rush Crush. I love the whole series but these are without a doubt my favorites.
3. Rock Chick Revenge By Kristen Ashley. Ava Barlow is my hero. She is brave, funny and takes no rubbish. Also Lucas Stark wouldn't go a miss on a cold night.
4. Motorcycle Man By Kristen Ashley. GIVE ME TACK! Oh wow! What an amazing story. It's everything I look for in a book. I read this in one night.
5. Bad For You By Abbi Glines. I love the dynamic between Krit and Blythe. It's a beautiful mix of innocence and broken. It's a beautiful story of love finding a way to heal. Yet still be badass
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My Children. They never fail to shock me, inspire me and give me hope. They truly are amazing little people. I know even though they sometimes push me right to the edge of my sanity I wouldn't change or trade them for the whole world.
