Interview with Stevie Rae Causey

Published 2017-02-06.
What do you do when you're not writing?
I'm probably playing taxi to at least 1 of my three kiddos, hiking, or reading :)
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I'm part of several indie review groups as well as a women's book club. I get to discover so many fantastic stories that I may otherwise overlook.
What is your writing process?
It depends on what I'm writing. One of my most treasured (and unfinished) works is based on a series of journals I wrote throughout my life.
Sometimes while hiking I'll find myself inspired-I carry a voice recorder for this reason, then type it up when I get home.
What do you read for pleasure?
It changes based on my mood. I read a lot about personal journeys, parenting special needs kiddos, and YA fiction.
Describe your desk
It's less of a desk and more of a laptop on a boppy in my lap while I sit on the couch. That, or the kitchen table
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are a childhood dream realized. I believe a good book can leave you changed-I know several that have changed me throughout my life. I've always wanted to cause that feelin in someone else.
