Interview with Suzanne Steele

Published 2017-08-16.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My readers.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything. It's my beautiful readers who have made my books as successful as they are. I never expected for my books to be as popular as they are and I have GOD and the readers to thank for that.
What are you working on next?
Canary Chaos (Born Bratva Book 7)
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My Family, my readers, and my writing.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Spending time with my family is very important to me. I also enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with my farm animals.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Goodreads, Amazon, and word of mouth. I also enjoy finding books in thrift stores, libraries, and quaint little book shops.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes...Twisted Boss which I fully plan on revising and having re-edited, and re-released.
What is your writing process?
I'm all instinct. I don't have a process. I sit down and open a vein, then... I bleed for my readers. It's all I know and I love it.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Charlotte's Web. All books have an impact on me in one way or another.
How do you approach cover design?
I hire a professional to illustrate my ideas for the story.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I don't have favorites. I'm a moody reader and what doesn't touch me one day may slaughter me emotionally another.
