I saw a pile of long thick books I had little time to read and wanted to give the bare bones of what needs to be done for my friends and myself.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The search for the answer never ends as we are ever evolving and changing. I want to give the reader a short cut "quizat haderach" to his or her goals or a way to remove dirt from their orienting choices.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I want an open market of ideas and growth. This is a good place for it.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Seeing the freedom and ability grow in the reader and bringing my wife flowers.
What do your fans mean to you?
We are all together. I would not consider anyone a fan but a friend to join the climb.
What are you working on next?
The bare bones series of mini books for readers with little free time or readers who want the working man approach to doing things.
Who are your favorite authors?
Roger Zelazny, Rudyard Kipling, H. John Poole and many others.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My family, exploration, hunger for freedom.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
looking for better questions to ask and working. Spending time with my family.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I go on a trail and usually the next book is hinted by something that happens during the day, a hint within the current books I read and simply nature teaching constantly.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
That was a long time ago. A story about a dog and a hyena. Kipling was one of my earliest infatuations.
