Interview with Terry Skepple

When did you first start writing?
I began writing in 2011.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Knowing that I have a purpose, a call and a destiny! The best part of waking up is Jesus in my heart. Waking up to a brand new day - a day I have never seen before and will never see again.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing I spend my time playing the keyboard, singing or writing music. Spending time with my family!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
From Trials to Triumph is actually the first story I ever wrote.
How do you approach cover design?
I have a great Graphic Artist who designs my book covers. I give him the title and allow him to come up with a fresh design. He lives in Japan and he's very talented. If the first design does not suit me, I have him re-design the cover. He always comes up with more than one design.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
The Kindle is my e-book reading device of choice.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town in Maryland. I feel that growing up in such a small place has caused me to make the stories personal and real.
What's the story behind your latest book?
A REMARKABLE TRUE STORY ABOUT THE JOURNEY OF A HAITIAN BABY WHO SURVIVED THE 2010 EARTHQUAKE AND TRIUMPHS THROUGH UNIMAGINABLE CIRCUMSTANCES TO MIRACULOUSLY FIND HIS WAY TO A COUPLE BELIEVING GOD FOR A BABY.

My greatest joy of writing is knowing that it will have a positive impact on someone's life.

I have just released my second book entitled "Ministry Gifts" It is a workbook about the Five-Fold Ministry Gifts as well as the Foundation/Motivational Gifts.
