I have been writing since I was a child. It was always my way of working out a problem or I would use writing as a way to work out something that I had experienced in my life. The greatest joy of writing for me has always been that reward of bringing thoughts and feelings to life through the form of writing.

It was a great success to simply write my novel, but without my fans the success in broadcasting them would not have come to pass. So I greatly appreciate everyone who has supported me and who has purchased my novels and I pray to be able to bring them more great works and that my fan base will continue to increase with the number of my books.

The next novel I will be working on is called Hidden Blossom. It will be a book series of three with the main characters by the name of Rachel and Jared. This series will follow a woman and a man from their high school days through adulthood. I am extremely excited about this series and I cannot wait to begin working on it. I am currently working on my autobiography and I expect to begin working on Hidden Blossom by early 2017.

My favorite authors are John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Sandra Brown, and Debra Carol. I especially love John Grisham's novels because I used to want to be a lawyer growing up and his novels were always a way of getting good information through a story format. I also loved the humor found in each of his novels, not to mention the good looks of the author himself.

When I am not writing I spend my free time watching horror, romance, drama, and independent films. And when I'm not playing hot wheels and Thomas the Train with my son I'm reading and gardening.

Getting out of bed each morning can easily be taken for granted. What inspires me to get out of bed each day is knowing that some people could not or did not get out of bed that morning. So I show appreciation and gratitude for being able to wake up in the morning by thanking God. I have always been a very busy person and I try to get up as early as possible so I can fit as much into my day as I can. I fill the majority of my days with being a mother and wife and it brings me great joy to do these things.

I use to have a Nook and I downloaded as many books as I could to it from Barnes and Nobles. Even though I downloaded books I still preferred having something tangible in my hand such as a nice paperback book. I like to have both options because the nook allows me to hold more books than carrying around two or four thick paperbacks. So I am grateful for e-books.

The first story I ever wrote was a romantic ballad to a man I had a major crush on. I do not remember the name of it because it was at least a decade ago but I do remember the content. When I wrote it I had always enjoyed going back to read it and appreciate my style of writing. I would even surprise myself with some of the lines that I had come up with. That was always part of the joy of writing. To go back on something and say, 'wow, I wrote that?' and give myself an invisible pat on the back.

I approach my cover design by the first impression I get from the title. Whatever feelings or images the title of my book evokes, that is what I know it should be. When I do it that way I never go wrong.

My most favorite type of books to read are suspense novels. Growing up I used to read mainly romance novels and I got tired of reading love stories over and over. Then I picked up one of Sandra Brown's romantic suspense novels and I greatly enjoyed the mixture of romance along with a crime. It gave me the best of both worlds. Romance with a twist of crime; that is my favorite type of read.

I have been journaling since I was in middle school. I use to make up love stories in my head whenever I couldn't sleep at night, then tell them to my sister. I have written poetry, ballad's, autobiographies, children's books and I was even a member of a small newspaper team. It had always crossed my mind to write a novel as I have a family full of novelist. But I did not think I had it in me until a great friend read something of mine's one day and said, "Hey, you should write a novel!" And so I did. Now I can't get enough of writing novels and I have made it into a career.

My desk is very organized. I keep it dress right dress with a coffee mug of hot cocoa and marshmallows on top. I have a large notepad and pen and a Betty Boop pencil. A vase of flowers and a picture of my 3 year old son is neatly arranged on top. The desktop is booted up with the cursor blinking on chapter one of my next novel.
