Interview with Kimberly

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love the fact that people actually care enough to read what I write and respond to it in positive ways. I enjoy making connections with people through my writing.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are the people who have basically made me. I love them unconditionally.
Who are your favorite authors?
In all honesty my favorite author would be Dr. Seuss. I loved his witty ways with words.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I believe that if you want to accomplish something then you can't just lay around and do nothing. If you do nothing then nothing will be the outcome.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Besides writing, I also have a passion for music. I have played the piano for a while and I enjoy singing.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes I do, indeed. The first story I wrote was called 'Penny and her magical dog Bruce'. I never finished it, but, I still have the little notebook I wrote it in.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up out in the country, you know, mostly grass and trees. I was raised with grownups, there weren't really any children around me. Instead of dwelling on that fact I would try to find something worthwhile to do or spill my feelings into. Writing my feelings is actually what influenced me to write overall.
What are you working on next?
Within the upcoming end of the year, I will be working on starting/continuing a project. A novel. I do hope to have it finished before hand, maybe, if I am well enough.
